Ok look!...I am not looking for sympathy or support from anyone here just information.....People can become so self rightoues behind a computer screen. For those of you who are so perfect and have never had drink, or did drugs, or cheated on there spouse.great! .........The DOT is passing out gold stars and free buscuits so get'em while there hot :joker: ......However, I live life and I've done good things and bad, and I'm ashamed of nothing. Besides, let's not pretend as if Truck drivers are such angels and upstanding citzens...Go to any truck stop and you'll find any sin you want to get into...Why is that?

Listen, I'm not here to fight with anybody or cause trouble. I'm not even worried about the test because all the company can do is not hire me. Which maybe a blessing in disguise only time will tell. Until then, I'm just seeking information. Let not one judge less he/she be judged. Thanks again ppl for you help.:cheese:

    i AM self rightous............i AAM perfekt.............:toothy10:

fact(s) remain that the drug (any drug) stays in your sytem for a long time. in that time, (i think) you will take another hit (or two) and be here again asking us for information.

    what can we say.............??

    you screwed up, not us..................

if you continue (and i think you will) to have a "hit" every now and then, you're going to be the loser, not us.

you (were trying) to get into an occupation that REQUIRES drug screening. this will be the "norm" by the way for more companies in the years to come, not just the trucking industry, as drug addicted workers cost employers tens of thousadns of dollars a year in health costs, hiring costs, re-hab costs.....................

you are going to have a tough time with "living your life" your way...........and trying to get a job (any job) that requires drug screening......PERIOD.........

and this too:"I'm ashamed of nothing. is telling me at least you don't really care about turning things around......

so those inflatable dolls just aren't what they used to be......

I just cannot figure out why someone comes in here trying to figure out what to do about a drug test. Don't use drugs, then you don't have to worry about the drug test. It really is quite simple............

I will be the first to admit when I was younger say 20 years ago I smoked a little bit. I can honestly say now that I haven't done it in years and I have never had to worry about passing a drug test. Why would someone even bother going all that way to orientation not knowing if the will pass or not. If you fail the test you are pretty much out of luck on getting a job for three years. Why go through that?
