What if it Snows?

How come guys like that never get inspected.. I dont have a spec of dirt on my dash and cant seem to get so lucky...

 

If I were a DOT I would pick the clean truck that doesnt appear to have anything wrong with it to do random inspections on... Less work.

For the obviously dangerous trucks I would just look for a couple OOS violations and be done with it.

Maybe that is the way they think... the other guys that i run with up here , i was telling them about my inspection the other day.. Both of them havent got inspected in over 3 years.... I got 3 inspections last year in montana alone, 6 total. And already 1 this year... we all run the same routes . Actually my buddy drove right on by that dot officer 5 minutes before i did, and he decided to pull me over! I thought what the hell! The officers always tell me its random, but makes me think they are looking for something specific and whatever they are looking for, it is all over my truck.

 

I believe that is the gorge just south of I-84 off exit 182.

Many years ago I watched a big truck get blown over and nearly go over the edge... I was hauling a load of cattle out of the TwinFalls livestock auction at the time. I ended up having to turn around and go farther west to get back to 84.
