There's good advice... NOT !!!... hire a 300.00 per hr lawyer to try and retrieve a 1000.00 ...?????? And then destroy your good standing with the company that is willing to Welcome you back huh.. WTH..??? Plus your already dealing with the issue of high blood pressure .. which is a large portion of the reason this all happen .. I'am sure a lawyer & a fight over a 1000.00 will help lower you blood pressure too...
Good luck too you I hope you get your health issues back on track.

The vast bulk of the time that is enough. If it's not, file in court and do all the filing yourself. Court fees are cheap.Last edited: Mar 27, 2021

Any company that charges you an escrow to work for them, is not worth working for. But that's just me

When I did floorcovering as a independent contractor some stores would hold a percentage of your check for warranty repairs. Good luck getting that back! You had to sign a paper saying they could do that. I got smart and told them to pound sand.
As a regular employee no matter what you signed it sure sounds illegal. Call your state labor department.NavigatorWife, ZVar and roshea Thank this. -
Try calling a higher up boss & see if you can straighten it out maybe it was just a mistake or maybe its not really listed as abandonment...If it really was abandonment they wouldnt have offered to re employ you...Don’t automatically go on the defensive...
NavigatorWife, slow.rider and nredfor88 Thank this. -
A "higher up" is a joke. They don't give a #### about their drivers, it's obvious.
