Correct, for Quebec anyway, one plate, tractor front, straight truck rear, all start with L, unless you're from Brampton, then a cardboard one will suffice...

So at what point do the courts of Arizona tell the Highway Patrol enough with these illegal stops? They keep dismissing them and the cops keep writing them clogging up the court system more than it needs to be. They just keep going 'round in circles.

Yeah because they know some people will just pay the fine instead of the hassle of fighting it. Free money. Instead of integrity LE has a mentality of using intimidation and bullying to fulfill their 2 greatest loves: making money and feeling empowered. That's why they treat people the way they do. They get great satisfaction out of both.

NY also. I only know that because I leased on to a NY company and got into an argument with the mechanics over not having a plate on the rear of my truck. IL only issues one plate to be mounted on the front. Just in case, I removed the rear license plate light. I figured I’d give them one less thing to ticket me for.

next time just tell them that you're not driving... -you're traveling. also mention that you are not a citizen that is in commerce with their corporation and that the earth is actually flat.

    works like a charm

They don’t unless there is a motion to ask the court to order it.

Arizona also plays this game if your flaps aren't long enough or sailing in the wind, they will pull you over for that too.

You could have a brand new Great Dane, straight out of the factory with factory flaps installed and if they're sailing they'll pull you over for a DOT violation. You just have to shake your head and some of this petty stuff.

Yes they did. On cars they allowed darker from the 35% that was already max dark legal. I think they allow 15% now. They did it in the name of skin cancer protection.
At the time a bunch of trucking guys lobbied for the same allowance on cmv’s as cars or at least the old 35%. Read the fine print. They allowed only 70% on cmv’s. That is a worthless joke.

I went with the legal amount of tint and use one of these as well. It doesn't block my mirror at all and there's nothing they can say....as far as I know.
