We are 22 miles from the NM border. Sounds like we'll be passing in the dark. We may be stopping either in Tucumcari or Santa Rosa... not sure yet.

Seems like everyone is happy at jct. it's been 2 years since i hauled out of ca, starting to miss it. Thanks guy's happy trails

I was reading another thread discussing Lumpers.
It is my understanding that JCT pays for, or I would to assume they reimburse for lumpers. Since I have never pulled a reefer b4, it seems to me that the amount of grocery whse, and DC's you all go to, those lumper fees can add up right quick. Are you all holding cash back with lumpers in mind, or will JCT advance you a comcheck for these costs? Do you have accounts where the company pays or bills direct for lumpers. What about driver unload, what kind percentage do you have to unload vs hire lumpers vs customer doing themselves?
