yes it does because a new thread should be a new idea not a continuance from a prior thread. The information is lost this way so that anyone searching a subject can't find it because he switches to a new thread.

So given that space on the truck is limited, what is a good basic spares inventory to have with you on the truck, i.e alternator, injectors. what do most of the O/Os who work on their truck carry?

I don't carry a lot. A headlight and taillight, alternator belts, both fuel filters, a tube of grease , some fuel conditioner, 1 gallon container of fuel and a piggy back brake chamber. I have a extra cheap alternator but never carried one for years. Assorted hose clamps and pieces of hose and fittings and a electrical repair box. I have my own trailer so I carry a extra air bag for the truck and trailer because it can be a nightmare to find the right one on the road. Don't forget a tool kit I use one of those cheap ones you get for your house with like 200 different tools in it. You can never have enough but you have to draw the line somewhere or your truck will look like a service truck LOL Don't forget a good light and something to lay on if you have to go under it.

NOW MY FRIEND THAT IS UTTER NONSENSE , they still do not have a forced dispatch, you can still pick and choose your own freight, all the freight is still on the same webb sight they still have different agents two pick from.

now i dont have a problem with a driver bad mouthing a company that has really done somthing bad to them but to bad mouth a company just because they didnt no how to run with the company, really, you have to learn how to load your own truck, they wont tuck you in either, man up somtimes the driver is just plain wrong.

at any rate have a good day.----southernpride
