Problem with my trailer brakes. Parking brakes do not work when set . But Trolly brake are working on the trailer . Getting air at the gland hand . Truck is a freightliner . Trailer is a boydstun Any suggestions

Third guess, single air cans, trailer doesnt have brakes
(They exist, its not common, and i dont like it, but it crops up here and there) -
With the trailer park brakes not set (trailer air charged) pop the red glad hand off by hand and see if the spring brakes instantly set in emergency mode. If not then the trailer control valve under the trailer at its air tank is bad. Most likely the quick release side of valve.

Pole trailers and lowbeds don't need to have spring brakes IIRC.

Well i looked up his car hauling trailer, it looks like a pretty low bed...
