I bought a new Landoll trailer, and was wanting to add auto tire inflation. The trailer is already prepped for it (axles already drilled), but I need to buy the kit and install it.
What is the best system in the market these days?

I spec’d my trailer with the Meritor. The auto inflation was probably the best return on investment of any of my upgrade options.

I think I’d rather have a setup that ties into the air system. Those do seem like they would work well on a tractor, but with a trailer with 17.5 tires, the Halo would cover the whole wheel.

We already have one Landoll with the Metior system on it, and it works fine, other than it has a small leak somewhere that I have yet to find. The low pressure light will come on for a few minutes after the truck sits all night. It’s also a few year old system, and was wondering if there was something better now on the market.

I don’t recommend the Halo for your trailer, I do recommend them for the drives on someone’s tractor. I put the Halo on my tractor as that was the easiest option for me to have an air supply on my drives. The Meritor or something similar is the best option I know of for a trailer already equipped for it.

Hendricksons Tire max pro. It inflates and deflates to your desired pressure. I’ve had it for 18 months and no problems.

I’ve been doing research, and I think Tire Maax Pro is the best setup. Everything I’ve found about them though just indicates them working on Hendrickson axles. My trailer has Dexter axles. I’ve sent a message to Hendrickson about it.
