    :biggrin_25518:Wake up 3:00 am...
    :biggrin_2556: Get up 3:15 am

    Drop frozen chicken.

Do morning check in... grab some coffee and head up the road for our 6:00 am delivery. There's a line waiting, but not too bad... get docked and wait for unload, about 3 hours. Lumper fee paid with EFS check.

Finish drop and no pre-trip so we head back to the truck stop and have breakfast, eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, bacon and ham plus strawberry crepe... oh and coffee! Hubby does the tripak (says much easier than CRE)... I nap a bit. I/we could be doing laundry, cleaning the truck, etc., but we're feeling laid back... must be the Cali influence...:biggrin_25525:.

Finally... the red light comes on... Pre-Trip... followed by Load Assignment... woohoo... we're moving! Picking up produce in CA and AZ... 5 pickups and one drop in TX on Saturday. We drive down to Gonzales... I-5 to 156 to 101... nice route... rolling hills... a pleasant drive.

We're at the first pick now... our load is not ready yet (they are running behind) so we are having soup, relaxing, reading and playing Evony. We're very close to Monterrey... we love to go to the Fisherman's Wharf there for Calamari and Clam Chowder, theirs is the best... but not this trip.

Not sure how long this night will be yet.

Today's leg about 100 miles MT
    Loaded 1700

Going to go eat my soup!
