Go to a good electric supply house. Ask about a "curly cord". For stand up forklifts we use to buy
heavy rubber covered coiled cords. Thing will be about a foot of straight on each end and coiled
between. We could order them sometimes to stretch to 12 feet and with up to 10-12 leads or more, depending on wire size needed. Never used on a rig, not available back then. The 70's.

You know..I've seen people stick shards of cardboard between the cord and mount, to make the pins contact, better, put electric grease, bend around the pins, clip the cord attempt to rewire or in the case of a few Roadway drivers, just drive to their destination with them flickering. If its not the trailer fault. I'd simply replace it with good USA one. Always carefully unplugged mine Everytime, ( not by the cord)kept them in the holder when bobtailing and..They would last a few years.Jmo

On this one the green cord and both air lines are just a touch to short on the sharp u turns and 45 degree backing.
Not the springs but the plastic piece that holds them together is holding slack on the wrong side. When I went to add slack. I broke one of the bolts. So I've been being gentle till this weekend, I forgot about it. And now its blinking

Buy a new one, keep the old one, buy a new end for the old one, repair it at your leisure, and keep it as a backup.
