Michelin steer tires

    i agree, Michelin X line wear is almost non-existent in 2 years but look what I just found on the passenger steer. don't know if it's a good idea to put many more miles on these. no idea what would have done this, I don't hit stuff

    I would thank you were somewhere that you ran over an obstacle. Backing to a dock and did not notice the offset concrete slab sections type thing.
    Getting them off the steer is a good idea in my opinion also.

    I’m a big fan of the XZA2 for the fronts. By far the best steer tires I have found for Exhd. I do run Michelin Xda 5’s on drives, other truck Xdn2 on drives. They are great tires, but I feel if you wanted to save money you could try your luck with other brand drive tires. When it comes to steers I feel it’s best to run high end rubber up there.

    I wouldn't worry about that. The only reason l might touch that tire is to flip it and put the gouge on the inside of the rim. Just so it doesn't stick out for an inquisitive to/dot to see. As long as it's not down to the cord's that's nbd to me.
