Tell me if I'm wrong... They run the bonus from the 1st of the month to the last, and pay it the 3rd pay of the next month?

 

Ran low on hours so I couldn't deliver in SA when scheduled, and lost my reload. HEB wouldn't reschedule until Friday night at 7, so that nixed the next reload they set up. Now I'm picking up near Ft Worth today going to Phoenix for a drop and hook. This whole shindig messed with my miles, maybe enough to prevent me from getting a bonus. Feb is a bad month to start in if you're trying to get miles for the month.

 

Time to update. Drop n hook at Tyson in Tolleson (that was weird saying that). Picked up a Daisy in Casa Grande with a two stopper - Lancaster and Shafter, CA. Dh back to Barstow to stage for my pu yesterday in Colton, going to Gas City, IN. I'm in a race to get there a day early, so I can squeeze in a 34.

I missed the 11k mile bonus by 600 miles. Not terrible, seeing as I missed the first 2 days of Feb because of orientation. With Feb being a short month, not a heckuva lot of bonuses given out. 11k - 15 drivers; 12k - 6 drivers; 13k - 3 drivers.

 

Took my 34 and was rewarded with a load to Bakersfield.

We have updates every 10 days to see where we're at mileage-wise. So far I'm at 5100 miles for the month, but there's no way I have that much unless they're including the run I just started going to CA. Once I took my 34, I dropped at 4am, then had to wait til 1900 to pick up... ie, another day without miles. I'll have to update this again in 10 days.

 

Good to see your doing ok there @Knucklehead. I’ve heard both good and bad about them. Keep it up!!

 

I don't see too much bad here, AFAIC. Their rah-rah atmosphere is kinda annoying. They're pushing apps and stuff that I see as unnecessary, since I'm a truck driver, not a social mediot. Still don't know why I got 1400+ for the first two weeks, but I'm where I belong now. Communication is a bit of an issue, but not out of control. And the dammm Sirius is still out. I wish someone would pay the bill, or just right whatever is wrong.

 

On my way to Boise. I hated this run until I passed the lines of trucks on 40 getting fuel. Now they're out in NM, and probably AZ. Luckily I had enough fuel to get to Boron, CA.

The only fuel restriction we get is "We'd prefer that you didn't get fuel in Oregon." I'm sure most places are like that.

When I got loaded yesterday, I scraped a fitting on the bottom of my reefer tank on the cement. The guy says, "Next time you might want to move your tandems before you come all the way out of the dock. One time it put a hole in the tank, and they had to clean it. It was a big mess."
