Does texas have a chain law?

    I am headed to Amarillo, TX and its supposed to snow tomorrow. Can someone tell me if I am required to carry chains on the truck in Texas? I don't have any yet.

    it's snowing in texas? what the hell is wrong with this world, it hasnt snowed an inch in Illinois yet... Not that i'm complaing, but WTH?

    yep, and there's also a good amount of snow on the ground along i-10 between sierra blanca and the i-20 junction.
