    are there any companies that offer stand alone reefer break down coverage. My current company wants big money to add to my policy.

    Doubt it. That's part of the cargo coverage. Should not add much cost. And without your own authority... I don't think insurance will talk to you seriously, but I could be wrong.

    What's the proposed increase they're telling you?

    I have my own authority and have so for 11 years but never have done reefer so Iam getting push back that they even want to touch me.
