The 780 was ditched a few years ago... she was an awesome truck and was a pulling machine with the ISX530.

Are you thinking about the fuel miles?

Can you just reflash the original MBN ecm into a 6NZ or does a person have to swap out to the older ecm? Does it help lower egt's any? That has always been a big concern of mine with this MBN aside from the poor mpg's. My mufflers are straight through donaldsons not the restrictive reverse flows on some kw's. I think they're ok. I'm not really wanting a loud as hell truck and pittsburg power thinks a lot ($$$$) of their mufflers for t600's.

    I sent you a pm.........

you can reflash your existing ECM to a 6Nz or a 7CZ file with no problems.

Google Tel Tek digital gauges; sending unit mounts under hood, just wires in cab.
JFaulk99 touts the Dakota Gauges, not to undercut him or the Dakota gauges, but I have used the Tel Tek brand for years, they offer gauges for almost all big rig applications. I have their fuel pressure gauge for my pickup, but haven't gotten around to installing it. Others I HAVE used, are air pressure, the dual readout suspension (for truck and trailer), pyrometer, dual readout thermometer, and clock. I use/have used them in my present truck, as well as the other two I have previously owned. Drop in for KW dashes, & most other trucks. Lifetime warranty, and decent prices, and no, not associated with them, just like to share info about a good product.

I did a mbn 525 to a 6nz 550 conversion and the truck lost power but gained fuel economy. So the only thing i can think of is that the inj lobe is not in the right position for the 6nz file. Every thing else on the truck is perfect it has good fuel pressure 100psi good boost pressure over 33 and no leaks in the charge air cooler.
The truck had good power before the swap but horrible fuel economy 4.3 now it gets mid 5's but runs like a 475 at best any input would be appreciated just thought i would put this out there so no one does it and ends up disapointed with what they end up with.
