    Thanks guys.

Got my truck and trailer today, spent the day getting them both kitted out. Got me a Trail King MG behind me. And a 2020 freight shaker midroof. I like the way they set up the trucks, got the sleeper windows and such. Very nice.

Auto unfortunately. But i dont really care. Its very nice. And they set them up very well for specialized freight.

Different atmosphere here. Happy as a Tornado in a trailer park. Fuel cards 100% open. Equipment storage, I just gotta walk in sign my name and what I took and help myself.

Anything I need, Call, say my name. Which to his credit my DM at swift did that but not the rest of the company. Its company wide here tho.

    #### said I needed new tags for my plates, and a few odds and ends for the truck. Was busy helping someone out. And they took em right to the truck.

Outrigger boards were a bit shoddy. Go in for a meeting and bam go back to the truck and there they are strapped to the deck where I had the ####ty ones.

    #### we talked to the owner a full two hours a few days ago.

And I got my first load coming out of Tacoma, picking up monday. A Excavator thats exactly 102in wide lol. Gonna deliver in stockton. Grab something in long beach go home for 4 days in vegas to kit out the truck.

And hit the road and see where this all takes me.

You're paying for your fuel now ... Be judicious where you buy it. Are you getting a fuel discount?

Fortunately my friend in the pete, has that ingrained in his head. And yes, Diamond has fuel Discount at some places.

We are using the Fuelbook app to track prices, both with the Pete at diamond. And me as a company driver over here at Combined. I should have been more thoughtful of how I phrased that. Cause over here this is the one place that company drivers get treated like O/O.

Right now my actual truck We are shooting for maybe decemberish, unless that plan changes.

Not yet. Thats in the works. The Petes pulling revenue tho, and im making money, so it all works out nice for me. Im not even going to start taking a cut from the pete till we get maintenance built up so much on that. Id planned on that tho. Right atm, its got its budget and its comfortably self sufficient, so im just gonna let that build a little extra. Seeing as id rather the budget get built at this point, than me taking it out of the front end.

But ill probably also just set my cut aside to fund the next truck quicker anyway, when it gets down to it. Right now my friend in the pete is happier than a dog with a ham. And happy as well to be back pulling equipment. His asking price was reasonable. He kinda just looking to run until he retires.

    misquite nv at flying j.
left jurupa terminal around 0600 and made my way to beaver ut to switch loads.
did my 30 minute break at Petro in n Las Vegas nv and left.
that's when the qc started shutting down alot.
came back on after the virgin river gorge and turned off again when I passed loves in cedar city ut.
was gonna fuel thete but wouldnt be able to log it.
came back on right as I got off to go to flying j in beaver ut and stayed on till I left.
off and on all the way here.
had about 30 minutes extra on my 11.
wasn't able to get off duty.
so I just unplugged qc at black box for 10 minutes.
was able to get it back on to log off duty and had 1 minute left on the 11.
turned back off so I unplugged qc again and went inside to get dinner.
came and ate it in the truck.
when I finished I plugged it back in and it's been on now for the past hour.

took it to shop And told him what's going on.
he said they are not fixing qc's anymore. change g them to the zonar tablets.
been trying the art hour to get it back on so I can get off duty and log off it.
dispatch said I was on duty not driving.
