Did you take both filters off at the same time? I always do 1 at a time because Im paranoid about getting air in the system. Fortunately my truck has the manual pump on the filter housing.

I can't believe it pulled that much air though.

cke, Nostalgic, Eldiablo and 2 others Thank this.

Yep my ####### didn't even process that changing both at the same time wasn't a great idea.

If I had the hand pump then I'd have probably been running days ago

I have 2 little Cats - so was glad to see a resolution on this (both have the hand vacuum/pumps and haven't had an issue - yet). One nice thing about my ISX, I spin both filters on dry and just cycle my lift pump 2-3 times or until I quit hearing air bubbles in the tanks.

Loss of coolant in an ISX a lot of times is the egr cooler.

I have to confess, he did most of the work.

Cracked right beside the bleeder nipple. 13+ years on original, I just wish it had started leaking before one of the other bazillion times I’ve had to pull the cooling pack lol.

Of course no one had an oe in stock today, so fingers crossed the aftermarket isn’t junk.

Always been a fan of Border Collies and Australian Shepards.

When I finally get myself that acreage I'm getting 1 or 2 of 'em.
