    I don't know. I just know the hose being disconnected opens a hole between your turbo and air cleaner.

    Inlet hose for your air compressor. It needs filtered air, its getting dusted if its disconnected. Usually once it happens its a matter of time before it starts passing oil into your air system and contaminating everything. Keep an eye on your air dryer and if it starts purging oil with the air, replace the compressor asap.

    wow thanks, I only put 50 miles on it with that hose disconnected, but bet, yesterday after shutting down I heard a new sound from driver side of engine bay, real subtle but sounds like compressor thumb-in-mouth poppoppop sound, thought it was ac comp but turned off ac comp and sound still there. maybe I get lucky. maybe I get smart and learn how to do my own my overhead :mad:

    Go get a fumoto valve for the oil pan.
