By forcing you to take a 10 so close to home they are costing you productivity and general job satisfaction, not to mention costing you both money.TallJoe, Trucker61016 and NavigatorWife Thank this. -
Next time I’m going to leave a night earlier to make the run and they are going to buy a nice dinner and drinks for me. My company use to not care much. Then corporate came in and now they are cracking down on some stuff but not all of it. If I were a contractor they would t care that I don’t even log on and use the ELD, but employees they do.
Trucker61016, NavigatorWife and Doealex Thank this. -
Badmon, Linte_Loco and BoostedTeg Thank this.

I’ve done a tire check on duty . It’s not my fault I didn’t get going fast enough to trip it back to driveline. Least not till after the pinch point anyway

Ran out of hours 8 miles from the office, in an area where my only option would be to stop in the middle of the lane and take my 10, I decided to drive to the office, company didn't care, ELD provider told my boss they see it happen all the time, their advice is to notate the log, on both the driver and company end to protect us in an audit.
tommymonza, Trucker61016, 86scotty and 2 others Thank this. -
