If I recall from another post your situation is that your trainer had personal problems, felt you were going to fast, and reported you weren't catching on fast enough.
You can continue to do what you are doing, which doesn't seem to be working well for you, or you can try a different approach which may work.
I will tell you and all others struggling to get on somewhere don't under estimate being humble, having gratitude and showing respect. Because making it in this industry is't something you are going to do alone, you will need other more experienced drivers. -
First of all, you need to be concerned about who you go with. They all tell you one thing and do the opposite. Have you been out here very long? try local. I just quit a company because they promised me 2500 miles and i was lucky if I got 1200. I sat more than I drove. so carefully check out who you go with.

Not trying to hijack this thread, but my situation is very similar to dodgeram's. I have 1 year in now. I went to a good outside school and got good grades. I then went to Swift and was praised by both of my trainers as being a good student that did what he was told and picked things up fast. I drove solo for about 3 months making no money, so I ended up driving for an o/o. Both of my DM's liked me and could see that I could do the job.
I qualified to drive for Marten at the 1 year mark so I went there. Unfortunately, I bumped a shipping container (no damage) due to not GOALing. I lost my job after 1.5 weeks of employment. I have always been humble, teachable and respectful to all others. I guess as I look to find another job like dodgeram, I have to wonder what my prospects are with a ding on my DAC.
Please, I don't need chastising (Kabar), just advice like dodgeram is looking for.
thanks.. -

If you were fired from a trucking company then I suggest you look at your DAC. The DAC is the record that many trucking companies look at when making hiring decisions. I think it works kinda like your credit report in that it follows you around but that you can also comment on bad reports, but I'm not sure really. Supposedly you can get one free copy per year from hireright.com. I ordered mine about 7 days ago but haven't received it yet.
