I'll do that, Warpdrvr. I'm sooo ready to go it's not funny. I hear that part of MT is exceptionally beautiful, having never been it will make the trip out even better.

AWESOME GUYS!!!!!! Congrats!!! You wont regret your decisions and infact if I'm right, you'll really enjoy your time here at Watkins!
Warp, it's amazing how we sound exactly the same going into the class. Reminds me of me sometimes. Keep us updated. And best of luck to your wife! -
Lynch, Thanks for the well wishes for my wife. The doctor is confident all will go well and she will be in the hospital for just 3 days or so...but her surgery is 1 day after the January class so I can't make it for that one. But she is the most important thing in my life, so even though I am itching to get to Missoula and start my new career, my time is well spent here at home.
By the way, I thought you were missing in action or something! I haven't seen you around here for a few days and was thinking that maybe you got lost in a blizzard or something
Hopefully you can make it thru Missoula while I'm there and we can get together for lunch or something
Stay safe out there man!! -
What Warp said, hopefully you'll come thru while I'm up there too. It would be good to put a face with the name.

Ya just been running hard over the last couple days and havent had much down time. I'm in Missoula on Monday.....but that doesn't help does it lol. Ya, I'd like to get through there when you guys are training and meet you in person. I'll let you know if I'll be rolling through there
-
Matt, Rumor has it I'll be running out west for awhile after training. Sandy called to make sure I was good with not being able to get home for Christmas which was pretty nice of her to check with me. I told her I'm good and to keep me on the calender for the 14th. She said most likely I'll run out there for awhile before being routed towards the house.
-
Good to know you've been running hard...hopefully that means all of us will have sufficient miles when we get out there. Where have you been running and how's the weather been there? It's gonna be interesting for me to be in Montana in February since I come from Southern Cali and am used to wearing shorts in the winter....and I've only driven in snow one time, just a tiny bit on the road, and never had to throw chains of any type...
-
Mike: The west is pretty easy to run so far. I've heard out east is tougher and why most don't like going there. I'll do anything as long as I'm rolling. Shoot me an email once you get on the road and we'll see if we can meet up somewhere along our travels and run together a bit.
Warp: Been WA, OR, CA, MT, UT, ID, CO, WY, AZ, NM so far. Last couple of days up north have been in the single digits! It's warm in the truck, unless I get out. Apparently these things need fuel to run. Training in the winter is the best kind there is. You'll learn how to drive in snow, cold and even how to put chains on. You may not have to use the chains much when you're out, but it's good to know how to do it. Honestly, I wish it would have snowed more when I was training, so you're lucky in a way -
Macon Turner says, "We are a Rocky Mountain company. You are expected to chain".
