I have heard and felt what you are experiencing. The easy pedal almost allows the operator to keep the clutch in the sweet spot or the engagment spot or slip it longer. The chatter your feeling is pretty typical and most likely wont change much during the life.

If its holding good, run it out and go back to a traditional. You pretty much hit it on easy pedal for road truck. Non for vocational, IMO.

 

Downshift and just let it out faster.......

I completely understand the annoyance.

 

Is your truck engine electronic or mechanical fuel system?

 

OK so yours is electronic which eliminates mechanical linkage and air ride cab problems.
Be sure all your engine, transmission, mounts and torque spring type things are good.
I will share some experience from hard knocks and what I do. Everyone can hammer me as I opened the door. Maybe someone else can help teach me to drive?
I used to put the heaviest clutch in everything that fit. Someone on this forum pointed out that if you had really good service from your last clutch replace as original. My left knee would have appreciated that.
Like the easy pedals but do they not have different torque ratings available?
Now you can start laughing and or learning. I was driving a Mack in about 1988. R model, 5 speed, camel backs, mechanical fuel system ( rod between the pedal and the pump ) , Air bags on the back of the cab.
It did fine with a trailer even when empty. I dropped a trailer and was bob tail. Stopped at a traffic light and had that thing hopping when the light changed. Bunny hopping extremely bad. The more I tried to correct it the worse it got. Cab up and down, mechanical fuel rod and air seat can really get things going. Then the CB said: Ha ABC-XYZ ( name on the door ) got you ears on? I just turned it off. I learned that if I gave it just a little throttle and eased off the clutch slowly I could prevent this. When it starts to move maybe even slightly depress the clutch and then ease back off of it. It is a very touchy situation with some trucks.
I was taught to have the clutch in or out. To the bottom only when stopped. With some trucks and applications that is not a problem. This truck I have now is touchy kind of like that Mack. If I need to get out in traffic in a hurry slipping the clutch a little bit is mandatory. Very minimal on slipping and RPM.
Now that you are done laughing I wounder about the noise. Could your clutch center be a bit large for your flywheel opening or some similar thing.

 

Used to put the 2250 eazy pedal Eatons behind Cats, N14 that were hot rodded in Wreckers. That little tri axle dumper with a C12 won't hurt it.

Was the input shaft replaced or reused?

 

My dealer told me a 2250 easy pedal will wear out all my linkage bushings rather prematurely. I'm running an 2050 behind 700ish hp. And I'm not easy on it either, not following the Miller up hill hard on it but... You'd probably be fine with an 1850 or even less behind that hopped up C-12.
