Dump truck owner operator, how do you find work?

    You need to pick one of those two but not both, then even if you do find decent paying work, you still have get get paid for it....

    I talked to a guy in my CDL A class that runs a dump truck already. He laughed and said, "yeah, I've gotten most of my business because I'm the only guy in the area that actually calls people back."

    I run locally hauling wood chips. When I first started I could hardly stay busy and even had to pull logs for a while to pay the bills. Now I have 3 different mill owners cell numbers and they call me from time to time needing help. That’s kind of how local work goes seems like.
