Is there anywhere I can get a fuel consumption curve for various HP settings for a 2001 Cat 6NZ?

Fuel economy and 6nz go together? Plus there are other factors that go into fuel economy
-
Peak torque is where the best fuel consumption is.

Fuel mi. depends on what type of trailer you are pulling, car haulers, flatbeds with uneven loads, and wide loads can throw your mi. in the scrap pile, a van with all the gov. add/ons sometimes get better fuel mi. keeping the eng. in the power band helps.

This is pretty much similar for all of the various hp ratings on the c15s with *some* variation
Your torque peaks at 1400-1500 rpm then falls off
Your hp peaks a little after your torque starts falling off
From what i remember driving my 6nz (475 hp but FEELs stronger than my 3406e at 485) best mileage was when i ran about 1400-1450 rpmAttached Files:

I run mine at 1400-1450ish around 65mph. Seems to be my best fuels mileage with 3.55s and 11r22.5s and a 13.
Vampire Thanks this.
