Dad Doing Errand Locked Kids in Trunk

Perhaps some time locked in a very small place will teach him that was a very bad idea.

 

Almost every time I am in a public place I can't help but wish someone children were locked up,....Or at least not where I am,.......


Just sayin,............

 

I was hoping, someone would catch the crux of this story. Nana, you disappointed me.

Anyone here own a Camaro/Trans Am/Firebird, now or in the past ???

Anyone of you willing to go on record as to how stupid this charge is ???

Anyone willing to show me a picture of the "trunk" of a Trans Am, post 1981 ????

If you find one on the web, with the lid up. The first thing that will smack you in the face is, you can see the front windshield and dash. There is no "deck" to the compartment. It is open to the passenger area, unless the owner spec'd it with the roll up soft vinyl curtian.

Not something that would harm, frighten, or injure a child. Unless the child was riding there while the car was in motion.

Just another braindead ###wipe, that couldn't mind his/her own business IMO.

Just my opinion - but I'm dead-on right!! The kids are 3 and 6, for pete's sake. I don't care if they were locked in a all-glass car. Responsible parents do not lock their kids in cars.
I tried to find some justification for this moron's actions - no dice!
I have nieces and nephews in this age group. There is no way on God's green earth that I could do such an ignorant, irresponsible thing!!!

ah yes, leaving kids to play in a car unattended. Brings back childhood memories. The kid across the road got to play in his Dad's car, somehow got it out of park, and when it came to a stop, had entered the downhill neighbor's garage, thru the side wall, and totaled the neighbor's car as well as theirs. He wasn't hurt too bad, just a broken arm. Just as long as the kids are having fun......

 

Yes indeed...the good ol' days of your childhood. Circa 1978 to present...locking steering columns, and gear shifts.

BTW are you and Oldnewbie aware that 52 times as many people have died this year of the regular flu virus, than H1N1.

Yet, H1N1 remains the only pandemic........strange things happen when the village is allowed to control other peoples behavior.

I don't care who you are, or how smart you are. There isn't an adult smart enough in the US to lock a 6 year old in a car.

The locks release when the handle is pulled from the inside.

I do agree that leaving a child alone in a car, is dangerous in most areas of this country. But not all.

The danger does not come from the car or the child. it comes from the perverts that would snatch the child.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that - they could've just unlocked the door, got out and wondered around in traffic. Easier to pick up by predators, too!
