As opposed to FOX or MSNBC? Just read the article, it may sound slightly opinionated at some points but I think they lay out the choice neutrally. And choice it will be for all Americans to decide, years to come.

 

Wow, no. I mean you're using an opinionated source that is biased against the subject, instead of posting an unbiased study. Using Fox would be just as bad, but in the other direction. For example, if I posted a rebuttal to one of your claims, and used Fox as my source, how seriously would you take it? Just like CDC should be almost the only source we even "kinda" take seriously in regards to Corona, FBI.gov is basically the only source worth looking at for gun violence statistics, since they just post the hard numbers without cherry picking and spinning statistics to make the data look a certain way.

Our opinions on the matter may differ, but I know you aren't stupid. You're better than CNN my friend. I'll check out the article anyway, but understand it will take at least two more orders of magnitude of gun death to make me think there's even a "problem" in this country. Probably sounds crazy to you. But making a mountain out of the molehill that is a number so small it's almost a rounding error in the grand scheme of things sounds equally crazy to me. And certainly not something worth risking a Constitutionally protected inalienable right over.

 

It's not a statistical article. The words alone stand for themselves regardless of source. I just like the way the author frames the argument from both sides. I read all, CNN, FOX, MSNBC, you name it. They all have something to offer if your able to judge on the words/agrument. Scientific data, yeah, prefer direct from the sources or referred from the sources, especially the scientists collecting the data.

Hey, @Muskie we can probably guess your stance of various subjects based on your replies so far, but I'd like to know just what is your stance on guns and 2A? You want stronger background checks, or smaller mags, or just get rid of guns all together? And whatever your answer, what led you to this outcome? This is no attack. Just purely of my own curiosity. For all I know, you're a staunch supporter of 2A, but believe there is a crisis worth addressing. Or maybe you're anti 2A? Where do you sit on the spectrum?

 

They did ban production of three ATVs in 1988. Im still upset with that over reach. You will never regulate guns from criminals. They will get one. These nutjobs shooting people would start making bombs to harm others.
