not much sitting here in streator waiting on somebody to bring me a load other that not much going on. i went to cartersville when i went to school and had a great time down there. as far as business in your area i am not sure how it is but i know a few weeks ago they were saying it is probally going to be pretty slow after christmas. i think if you can afford to wait i believe thats what i would do instead of going somewhere that you wont be happy. just keep in touch with them so they dont forget about you because they are staying covered up in the recruiting department right now.

The only thing that I think is a negative about Millis, is that they do not go out west.
I would really love to see all of the US. It is not really a negative, just a personal preference. -
Well there is one other negative I can see. That is they don't hire out of Michigan at the present time. LOL

They do run to California at times. The local Millis guy in my town has been trying to get on that run....

I was informed today that Mills looked at my application, but choose better applicants!
That certainly makes my decision much easier
Good Luck To All Of You! -
Hey guys, Truckerjeff here. Havent posted on here in awhile. I went through MTI in trenton in march 2009. I can say this much for sure 99.9% of what you are told from the hiring process to the school, to the over the road training is the honest truth. I have to tell you I did alot of research before choosing millis, as I see many of you are doing also, and they are hands down the best choice for getting into this industry. Kepp in mind this job is not easy, and be prepared to learn alot of information in a short time during school, it is definitely not just driving a truck. And then you go out with a trainer who will teach you a whole lot more. I am learning everyday out here on the road. Don't be afraid to ask questions, don't let your pride get you into trouble. your better off to look like the inexperienced driver that you are when you ask a question than when you end up doing something that can cause an accident or worse yet kill someone. I really enjoy this job and it's a real thrill to be drivin abig rig. I just bought this laptop so I will be posting on here more often again, so if there is anything I can help you guys with I would be glad to, Keep in mind my experience is limited, but if I can't answer your questions, I will find the answer for you. By the way spanky was a great deal of help to me I have ran into him a few time out on the road, he's a good dude. Srick also answered many of my questions, have run into him out here also. They are typical of "most" millis drivers, helpful, safe, conciensious. Anyway didn't mean to get long winded here, just been awhile since I've been able to post here.
