I was next to some Dbag on I-480 Westbound the other day....clacking away on his phone with both hands and a laptop open on his dash! I hope he dies too!!!! I really really really mean that! Ohio License plate "cybrpowr" if I recall...absolute thoughtless family-less dbags are the ONLY people even thinking about self driving cars IMO. If I were a dictator I would end it immediately and any loser dbag engineers that even mentioned them would be assassinated for merely uttering the words.
mitmaks, Toomanybikes, GYPSY65 and 4 others Thank this. -
And then they couldnt put the fire out because its one big hazardous waste dump.
Probably put enough smoke in the air to pollute more than all of the chemical plants in that area do in a year.mitmaks, Badmon, Flat Earth Trucker and 8 others Thank this. -
Per the article the only thing that is holding up production of the Tesla Semi is battery packs and also according to the article the truck is only going to need 5 times as many battery packs as the car.
Ummmm. What’s the range than 50 miles?Toomanybikes, Flat Earth Trucker, JoeyJunk and 3 others Thank this. -
And this right here is why you wont see driverless trucks for at LEAST 50 years. Insurance would throw a fit that would go down in legends we tell our kids 10,000 years from now if they tried. Imagine this was some steering wheel holder hauling a load of arsinic or something else equally nasty that doesnt do well with burning. Not only would you have a massive fire spewing toxic christ knows what into the air. But you would have the water rinseing it into the ground and the fire throwing the load into the air.
Honestly, i feel bad for the passenger who likely didnt know better. Less so for the idiot owner.Badmon, Toomanybikes, GYPSY65 and 4 others Thank this. -
Five times as many battery packs for a semi, what could go wrong?
Toomanybikes, Flat Earth Trucker, tommymonza and 3 others Thank this.
