Walmart best DC's places to work and live

    Hello,
    Let me explain better. I am looking one day after starting driving for Wally and have a year plus under my belt to move out of the Northeastern Region, where I actually reside at this moment.
    I was thinking on Florida, but I do not know Florida well, besides a couples of vacation in Miami.
    Are you a Wally driver. (you must be to answer this tread ), or do you live near a Walmart DC and know there area well?
    I am looking for places South of the US. Although Colorado and around region may be fun?
    Give me a look on your Dc and what is around there, as in money earnings, fun outdoor, city life and costs of living.

    I don’t work at China mart but I think the earnings would be about the same for all of em .
    The cost of living in the south would certainly be lower than the northeast.
    Mostly due to lower housing and lower taxes, Florida and Tennessee have no income tax but make up for it with sales taxes or property taxes.

    Maybe not all Walmart drivers are on this forum. There's 5 distribution centers in Florida. Are those distribution centers serviced by Walmart drivers or outsourced to another trucking company? A simple phone call can have that question answered.
    You can get lots of good information by internet searches. This way you can narrow the information as to what you and your family are interested in. If you have children, can get school ratings and neighborhoods that are zoned for the best schools.

    When we decided to move from Tennessee we did our own research, which took many hours.
    Narrowed it down to Texas, Florida, Nevada. Now live in a beautiful, safe neighborhood in Nevada.

    Well, they’re not the same. Yes WM pays the same wage regardless of where you work. But where you work is going to greatly affect what you earn. Traffic, time spent at DC’s, time spent at stores, miles between store, etc...all affect earnings. Which is why the OP asked for WM drivers to reply.

    If you are willing to go West, then, Hurricane UT, Grantsville UT and Buckeye AZ are great choices. Stay clear from CA DC's and Loveland CO. Hurricane is a Fashion DC

    Is Buckeye, AZ the closest Walmart DC to Las Vegas? Knight services Sam's Club in Las Vegas; are they out of Buckeye?

    Buckeye services Las Vegas Sam's, the Walmart stores in Las Vegas are serviced by Buckeye, Apple Valley and a few by Grantsville

    Thanks for the reply.
    The city-data link is a good place to get some idea on cities. My kids are all out of school, and I live by myself. I thought starting a tread here, and with time more people would find it.
    I am keeping an eye on the answers here and doing my research with time I will find something.
    Also there is some other factors I did not include on this tread. I like Walmart on the working schedules and Company time off. When I asked you must be Walmart driver to answer, is because some people just wanna answer and have no idea, and soon the tread is a mess.
    We will see where this will go!
