Have tried the slider thing. One of the fast service places. Krystal kastle or something. Not for me.

    Take a large cube steak.
In a bag or bowl, mix self rising flour, garlic and onion powder. (use good stuff) a little salt and fresh ground black pepper.
An egg well beaten ( i know beating a defenseless egg)
Dip steak into egg, coat well.
Dip/shake in flour mix. Coat well.

in a skillet, heat about half inch or so of oil to a medium heat, about 375. Cook steak, a couple of minutes, flip and finish cooking, like 2 to 3 minutes per side.
    Eat....

Same spice, but panko bread crumbs. 2 trips thru assaulted egg/bread. Hot cast iron, light oil, crisp both sides, place on Hawaiian buns, add cheese. Put top buns on and drizzle in butter. Finish in oven 5min at 350.

Was fully with you, until the Hawaiian bread.
Being Portuguese, I happen to know good Masa sovada. Thats the sweet bread. Hawaiian bread is a poor attempt at making it. It was actually introduced to the islands by Portuguese sailors. If you ever get to a good Portuguese bakery, get a loaf of the real masa.
Slice off a thick slab, get real butter and some orange marmalade ready. Toast the bread slice, watch it cause you can burn it easily. The slather the butter and marmalade and eat.

I'll keep that in mind, but not many of those in my town.

    Thanks

I was really sick yesterday... cause of the "invisible pollen" or whatever it is in the air near the trees...
I tried to find some info about the pollen this time of the year here in Rio but there's nothing... they might not care... Can't see anything either but my nose doesn't lie at all...
The lady at the compound pharmacy said that every time the weather changes here, folks that have allergy and rhinitis get pretty affected.... I know it has to do with the temp and the trees...
Had high temp yesterday and felt pretty weak like crap... but it's all gone now... thanks to much rest, lots of lime juice and honey... my body healed itself... :D
But must avoid the trees out there.. which is pretty difficult...

Here in Brasil there are bakery shops everywhere... they have all kinds of bread fresh made in their kitchens and many kinds of sweets and cakes and snacks...
The hotel where I was in CF was on top of a huge bakery shop... every evening around 17:00hrs I would smell the fresh bread from my window... that was the last batch of the day.... :p

6 hours on site and I’ve cut 4 trucks in line because they needed the PiN puller off me. But that’s all they unloaded. So here I sit. So far unloaded the house and one track. 1784531F-0616-41C3-9481-880A1FA9BBFF.jpeg
