    Yea it seems like too much. I thought I could get a small tank and kinda have something in the side box for emergencies. Ive got the adapters and the angle grinder, I’ll mess with it some this afternoon. If that doesn’t work I’ll pay someone to cut em off....

    Looking at the truck sitting in the yard being stripped, a 1/2” impact wrench with a three inch extension, swivel and socket on the bottom and a shallow socket with a breaker bar on top should work well.

    oh and two people. One to work the bottom and one to hold the bolt.

    The 1/2 inch swivel worked very well. I had 6 of the 12 off before getting the swivel. I then took off 5 of the 6 with the swivel adapter. I then took truck to the little service station across the street and just had them torch them off!!!! Ramps came right off.....

    On a side note I was gonna remove the shock to access the one bolt I couldn’t get to, started to remove the top bolt of the shock. When I went to go tighten it back up, the top part of the shock housing spins with the bolt and of course doesn’t tighten.... any ideas??

    Yep. Pipe wrench on that large housing versus tightening a nut probably won't even scratch the paint, much less hurt anything.

    Does the stud not have it's own welded nut?

    Should be a spot on the shock, under the mount, where you can put a wrench on it to hold it.
