I've NEVER sealed an empty trailer going across the border and they've never said @#$&. Blaine, WA wants the doors open. Nobody else cares. If they want to look inside, they'll send you through X-ray.

Must be regional, never once had a seal on a loaded or empty trailer coming through Coutts or Blaine weekly for more than a decade. Met a few prime, #1 a-holes, usually on the American side, but nobody ever cared about a seal.

Barn Doors, 53' Dry Vans. Always used 2 Locks and Seal or empty, 2 locks.
Preferred the Cable Style, when Loaded.
Always Locked Open Doors.
