Hi my 2015 Volvo 670 has one of these inverters under the bunk. I used to power two coolers and a microwave when I want hot food. Tonight the truck was doing a parked regen and right as a park regen ended my microwave died and my coolers went out. It seems all the outlets to plug things in are not working anymore but the display panel is still lit up and looks normal . I tried cutting the battery power to the truck for a few minutes and turning it back on and did a reset on the panel according to instructions. Cuz all so a bunk power on and off switch under the bunk I turned off for a minute. Any suggestions before all my food spoils?

Is there a GFI outlet with a reset button on it? Seen it in some trucks.

Check for GFI on the front, next is to see if it has a supplimental fuse that may have popped. it would be on the exterior of the inverter. next check the physical fuses in the line to the battery and/or box. Lastly you can unhook the positive on the inverter either by removing the terminal or pulling the fuse to the battery and waiting 30 mins for it to discharge and reset (These instructions are what xantrex told me to try with mine)

If those are all bad then the freedoms have a nasty habit of popping something inside them. I know i have a 2017 with a freedom HF 1800 with the same problem. Everywhere i have talked to said its likely dead as a doornail and needs to be replaced.

If it is dead then you can either get a small 400W inverter that can just clip to the back of your freedom and run a small cooler with temp sensitive things in it and throw ice into the other one for anything that can survive temp fluxuations.

Okay I just plugged something directly into the inputs on the inverter and it's working.. the inputs around the truck to plug things in are not working none of them and there's eight. Any thoughts?

D03D2CC6-D972-4288-A899-60203F994867.png The very first plug it receptacle it goes to usually has a gfi outlet with a small reset button on the face. If not , then there will be some kind of breaker or fuse either in the same box or location of the first outlet or between there and the inverter.

The small grey box near the Factory Inverter has a small round reset button that pops out.

Push it back in to reset the GFCI and it'll work correctly again ✅
