Nope. Doesn't sound plausible. Definitely a late night lizard encounter.

 

I have diesel everywhere. Seriously, knowing full well that diesel fuel will cure any lot lizard induced condition, including the removal of their blood, do you think I'd show thaaaaat? lol

 

Metal is definitely way up too. Have a friend with a plasma table and I found a digital kit for a flat bed to fit my truck and we were talking about getting the stuff together to build one.

5 sheets of 3/16 is 1000 bucks right now. This time last year it was half that.

Mhmm. It's gonna go up more before it goes down. Eventually it'll cost more to store it than it makes to hoard it and then the bottom will fall out and it'll drop back down.

Lots o' stuff went up.

In the last month I was at my previous job there was a pile of E-mails from vendors coming in about product price increases. Not unusual in and of itself (happened all the time), but what was interesting was the percentage amounts.

Example, in the previous year the price for product increase could be 5%. This time around I was seeing increases of 20% and up, in once case it was close to 50%. Then I knew how the sales team was passing that increase on to their customers, and it was ugly.

 

After 3 months solid recapping and going coast to coast nonstop, I’m finally headed home for a week. Money was too good, otherwise I wouldn’t have done it that long.

No hours left today. Lol. recap 8 tomorrow 11 Thursday. Deliver Thursday 640m. 1 hour to house. I got this

Another popular excuse going on now, "we're short staffed from covid".. That one also is really wear'n thin on me..

Played a similar game waiting on IFTA decals this year too. 72-96hr turnaround on email responses, & a automated phone system that just took me in circles.! Ahhhhh, technology...
