    591 is a better tire than I had. I was running 507's. They are an older one and now I know not so great, at least for my application. I couldn't find 591's anywhere when I was shopping. Backordered everywhere I asked.

    There are a few things that affect irregular tire wear:
    Suspension, inflation, thrust angle from the trailer, king pin wear/5th wheel slop, lack of grease jobs, broken steel belts, application, alignment, bearings and bearing tightness. How many times have you been passed by a truck and one of the trailer tires seem to THUMP, THUMP, THUMP as you pass? All that thumping transfers to the front of the truck and can affect steer wear.

    I run a 150 inch sleeper and I frequently deal with this issue. My tire wear issues come from application most of the time. I run a firetruck drive tire on my steer positions to distribute the weight as close to legal as I can get. Most the time I'm around 14,200 lbs on my steer tires empty and 13,900 or so loaded, so I carry a lot of weight out front. This is something I have to constantly watch!
