The question is to broad for me to answer.
On reading the entire article, this guy should be left alone. Overzealous prosecutors can be worse than the criminals themselves.Last edited: Dec 1, 2009

WW2 ended what 64 years ago now. What are the Germans Next going to do find any LIVING RELATIVES OF HITLER AND TRY THEM FOR HIS CRIMES. This trial is BULLCRAP in my eyes. All Germany is doing is trying to erase that stain on theri History that is Uncle Adolf and his Holocaust.
TallJoe Thanks this. -
Yeah exactly. It's not about the nazi's or their victims anymore. It's about some douchebag prosecutor trying to keep his name famous when there is nobody left alive to prosecute. 64 years and they can't even prove this guy was there. He's a russian, ffs.

They've been chasing this guy around since at least the late 1970's.

They need to leave this guy alone. He was brought all the way to Israel to be tried as Ivan the Terrible but the Israel Supreme Court let him go because he was the not that person. He was raised as a Russian and was captured by the Germans and then according to the Germans or the Nazi hunters, he served as a prison guard in a concentration camp. My question is, why dont they try all of the people who have worked as prison guards in concentration camps? Why are they going after him? What did he do that was so bad compared to anyone else who did that work? After all of these years of following this case I have yet to find out why!

Im watching the trial now in the newspapers and the prosecutor is pulling up witnesses whos parents died in the concentration camp. There is no mention about the defendent being there. Maybe its too early in the trial, but I cant see placing him there. Then on top of that, the prosecution shows that he has only worked at the camp for a few months. Gee, something smells...

Evan sadder... The evil Jews of Israel have already tried the man, and sent him home. We Americans refer to this as double jepaerdy. Obviously, socialist led governments have no such rules.
Can this be a glimpse into our own future ???david07003 and walleye Thank this. -
The dude is 89 and in a wheelchair, not to mention that he gets transported in an ambulance, any breath that he takes could be his last, does it really matter what he did multiple generations ago
