and just as has been stated. If LEO sees it, he can ticket you for it. No one here is saying they walk on water. They ARE saying what is legal or not. You want to split hairs. Go for it. Don't change the rules we are supposed to be abiding by.

I break the law dozens of times every day.
Never got cited for failure to signal , but I did get cited for running over an orange cone in a construction zone . Went to court, judge laughed his ### off and dismissed the caseT.Rucker Thanks this. -

You can PC to the nearest safe parking spot even while under load. At that point you are not working for the carrier or advancing the load. You are looking for a safe place to park.
Joe DeLorenzo, the FMCSA’s Director of Enforcement and Compliance, has said many times that drivers shouldn’t worry so much and get to a safe place, not on the side of the road.
