In theory it will run but make sure the camshaft, cr, and injectors match the ecm build or have custom tuned. This build. It’s a lot of work to change the entire front gear train and housings, but (less 80ish cubic inches and a set of injectors and turbo) that would match perfectly with the factory 6067HK60 14L non-egr calibration. Yeeehaw. Off-road, not-for-hire use only. You are not allowed to do this to a commercial on-highway unit, legally.

Timing sensors would need to be changed or plugs converted to the 14L harness plugs. PWM shielded wires should not be spliced.

Not sure there's a reason for a cam shaft adapter if you use the dd5 14 liter cam that came with the motor what's to adapt basically your just swapping out the head and the electronics
