You can check codes for abs. Not sure on yours, but My 01 has a diagnostic switch on the abs ecu under the bunk. It’s probably just a harness to one of the wheel sensors, or maybe one just needs to be pushed in, up against the tone ring on hub. Fronts are easily seen, and easily pushed in. First place I check, before using the switch/ flash codes. No telling on jakes. All I could do is check connections on jakes. If they’re tight, I’d suspect the harness has a broken wire. I’m no diagnostic Mechanic, just a parts changer.
Jake brakes on freightliner work intermittently.

no I don't loose cruise only Jake's I think it might be relay inside fuse box 1 relay was kinda loose I ended up spreading the pins a lil and it holds much better will let you know in a couple of days if that was the issue

I appreciate the insight i already checked the front abs and even pushed them in as much as I could will check wires in rear to to double verifyRideandrepair Thanks this. -
Just curious, is this a tag axle truck? The freightliner I drove was tag axle and when you hit a bump the tires would slip under Jake, and that does cause the Jake to shut off because the tires are slipping. Could also be a bad shock causing slipping?

no im usually under a trailer most of time and its a dual rear axle. new shocks replace roughly about 3 months ago and had both rear leaf springs replace this just started been dealing with it from time to time but it just got worst here recently. like I stated earlier I believe the culprit might be the relay but not 100% certain until i get back out on sunday

ok so I figured it out all this time I was struggling due to a bad relay, that I accidentally stumbled upon in my glove box. Just because I had no trailer brakes. Relay was not making good contact now abs and jakes work properly hope this helps someone
