Dang, I'm torn on this one. On one hand...he shouldn't have done that. On the other hand, he might have just bumped Negan out of the top spot as my hero. Probably going with the latter on this one, fellas.

And this #### right here is why trucking has gained a bad name. Hope they throw the gavel, book and podium at that idiot.

This particular #### right here? Are you sure it's not the constant yanking the truck into the hammer lane in a 70, up hill, just so you can do 36mph instead of 35? Or the bobbing and weaving all over the road because they're staring at a cell phone?

Are you saying there's so many incidents of a trucker pushing someone into an intersection, that THAT'S what's giving us a bad name?

Truckers have had a "bad name" for the last fifty years.

well, i think the traffic camera says it all.

as far as what happens now? hit and run, leaving the scene of an accident, most likely personal injuries, even a rookie attorney's field day here folks...

i'd say he's in a world of hurt, for what ever reasons why this happened. would it really matter to the jury or the judge at trial..??

either way, sucks to be him.

and one more nail in the "hate for truckers coffin" from the general public.

sooner maybe rather than later, truckers and cops will be tied for "bad people in the world", title.

can Al Sharpton be far behind..???

He got too close to that car and lost sight of it..

I’m going to side with the truck driver on this one because I don’t believe it was intentional.

I don’t care if this truck driver felt he was justified to push a four-wheeler in this instance. I am worried that this will lead to higher insurance premium rates for each and every one of us :(:confused:.

Ten million dollar settlement, and ten million truckers. That's a dollar each. I'll gladly throw in a couple dollars a month for this to happen more often. Maybe they'd get off their phone and pay attention to the F'n light.

So you’re all for the truck drivers who “show” four wheeler public the importance of safety distance around semi trucks? These instances will not show general motoring public anything. It has to be shown by instructors, parents etc. at their young age or experienced by the drivers themselves. In today’s litigious society I don’t know and care about truck drivers reputation but government statistics don’t look too good for truck drivers.
FMCSA says large trucks are involved in 33% of fatal work zone crashes

    truckdriver31 and buddyd157 Thank this.
