I was wondering if you were able to find headlights that would replace the oem. We have just finished painting our 377 but cannot find any lights that are worth putting back on. You would think somebody would have come out with LED’s to replace them. I know there are still 377s running around so what happens when you have an accident, trash the truck? I understand that it is 25 years old but you still see 40 - 50 years old going up and down the highway.

Still looking for a solution, I've found 3rd party replacement for 400 bucks https://www.amazon.com/Headlight-Ad...eterbilt+377+headlights&qid=1619930799&sr=8-3
, bought them but don't like them really flimsy and feel like they won't last long. If you are going to order the 3rd party ones make sure you get the right bezel there's two different sets, do measure before you buy. -
I talked with a mechanic and he said to pray that someone backs into you and buy a different hood, I think a 379 would fit

I am in the process of doing this -- but without the plastic sheets & sheet metal screws...
I bought the United Pacific 35775 & 35776 LED 379 headlights from TruckID for $403 each. Instead of just screwing plastic over the old headlights, I did the body work to fiberglass & paint the old headlight holes (I completely removed the old fiberglass buckets). It looks really nice.
I did learn that, because Peterbilt narrowed the front grille to make room for the fender headlights, you now have to have spacers made to make up for the increased angle of the sides of the hood/ grille. Mine are being made up at a local machine shop right now; once they're done, I can mount my new lights. Without the spacers, the lights tilt forward 5 degrees (like the ones in the picture, above).
Here is a picture of my 377 so far -- headlights should be on by tomorrow night.

Only if you changed out the front axle/ springs/ spring hangers/ drag link/ radiator/ charge air cooler & bumper -- aside from those items, the 377 & 379 are the exact same truck.

The United Pacific 35775 & 35776 LED 379 headlights from TruckID for $403 each, and spacers your local machine shop can make for under $250. Here is a drawing of the ones I am having made right now.
You can either screw plastic over the old headlights, or you can do like I did & fiberglass/ paint them so it looks like factory.Attached Files:
