Deff pump problem on 2011 Volvo D13

    Two days ago I got two codes on my Volvo.
    SPN 4376 FMI 5
    SPN 4376 FMI 7

    I used to hear deff pump running at least 20 seconds after I shut off tractor now it's only 3-5 seconds. Can anyone help me with this issue.

    It might be your def return valve is stuck. Have to take it to a good shop. Your def system might not clean properly and derate you at some point. Called russian roulette if you ignore it for too long

    Def harness has an open circuit/rubbed wire. Need to check the harness or replace the harness. You also need to check for leaks in the def system such as the def flex pipe. If those don’t correct the issue then you will need a def pump replacement.

    I checked the wires and harness and pipes everything looks good. I ordered the deff pump so we'll see. Let you know guys here what happened after replacement.

    We put the brand new def pump and that not solve the problem. Yesterday we put the brand new dozer valve. Still same issue. Anybody have any clue where is the location of the deff return valve????
