Where is everyone #5

Years back a hurricane came through downstate, power was out about 2 weeks as I recall. Station owner, gerry rigged a hand pump to pump gas out of his tanks, charged $5 a gallon as I recall to anyone who wanted some. Some folks got irate, some were glad to get it, and some complained to the governor claiming price gouging. State sent up someone to investigate. Whaddya think your doing selling gas at that price? Listen G man, I bought this gas, I rigged up the hand pump, I pay my guy to hand pump it out, and I aint forcing anyone to buy it. G man tails it back, guy keeps selling his gas to whoever wanted it.

Present day, I went to the local lumberyard to buy five 2x4x12's, not PT either. Guy says that'll be $94.67, huh, say what? $94.67, yup that's the price, nope you keep 'em. Went to see my Amish buddy, $20....

 

I'm not a sit and stare out thw window kinda guy really. However, since I'm waiting for my hubs.....I have time. What is up with the pirate look. Just about ever driver I've seen come through here in the past hour has had a do-rag and an over abundance of tattoos. Some even sporting "driving" gloves. Mostly of the fingerless persuasion. Ugh

For anyone familiar with Saratoga land management... The staging area is empty on weekends so nobody notices a reefer where the open deck should be LOL. Nice day yesterday soaking in the heat. Then up the road to the shower to wash off the sulphur smell and a short walk to an adult beverage. Nice lazy run this weekend
