Well, I'm done for the day. I went to Walmart, dang how I loathe that place, but it is across the street. I have been working on my truck all day, then I did a mediocre wash job on it and I was still the best dressed guy in the place......sad! Got alot more to do when I get home. Just going to have to wait until I have some air tools handy. I think about putting that crap in the truck, but dang....a fella can only take so much crap.

I have a 379 also so the room under bunk is tight. Tug gave me some ideas. I am in the process of installing floor so I am going to look at if I can duct a window unit it overboard if placed under bunk to the inboard of the factory unit.
I keep my room unit on the storage behind passenger seat and it takes up all that space. I can put a thing or two on it but it fills that closet. I pull it out and hook up the hose to passenger window. It does the job so far in 90+ degree heat and humidity. However again it needs more power than it really should.
Tug toy is spot on about it taking about 3 gal a night with a 3000 watt gen. My Yamaha’s 2200 isn’t strong enough for it.
I’ve seen the vids of them installed on back wall and I don’t think that would be bad if you put one where you could replace it with an RV window if you took it out. So that is option.
My fifth wheel trailer has two rooftop ACs and they just keep on cranking out the cold air. Tough decisions
