Spent way more days trying to sleep in hotels, than I care to remember. Maids cleaning, vacuuming, grounds crew mowing, leaf blowing, maintenance crew fixing/remolding, etc. Good times had by nobody.
Are there positions that allow Hotels nightly while working?

I spent the night in a hotel in Bristol, Va last night and there was a JB Hunt day cab tractor in there with me and a moving company tractor trailer also.
Another hotel I frequent in CT always has some kind of cryogenic tankers in there. Not sure if it's liquid oxygen or liquid nitrogen, but they must run some weird hours. I will get there around dinner time and there will be 1 or 2 trucks there, then I leave to get a bite to eat an hour or so later and they will be gone. Get up in the morning and they are back.
Not sure of the name of the company, might be Praxair.tallguy66 Thanks this. -
Maybe Frito Lay or the like?

Driveaway or hotshot.

It’s regional but Casey’s puts you in a hotel for the 1 night you are out a week.

Some cryo companies have what they call rest and roll. Hotels at night and run through the day.
Some chemical distribution companies like Nalco and Suez offer hotels everynight with company paid meals. Your in a sleeper truck but rooms are offered for good rest and clean showers
The fuel gas dept of western international gas offers hotels nightly rooms. Once again your in sleeper trucks. But the driver has a hotel card. -
Mostly you would need a company that would send you OTR with a daycab that has no possibility of sleeping in the cab. Yet dont count on that either as there are hammocks that one can use in a daycab. Also putting a driver up in a hotel is pricey. Its a good way for a company to go out of business with an high overhead in costs.
