The water from the faucet in America has milky color... and the one I used to shower at Pilots and FJs had so much something in it, chlorine maybe? That felt very slippery on my skin... couldn't get rid of that... very weird...
The water from the faucet in Brasil is clear not milky color but I don't drink it.
Actually I buy drinking water from natural springs only... hoping that they are really from natural springs with no added chemicals.
I once have visited a town in Brasil, there are several towns in Brasil with several water parks where people can taste several different kinds of natural spring water in the same lot.. over volcanic land one can have mineral water with different properties and taste.. They also have spa, with massages, bathtubs and a swimming pool all using mineral waters... All those waters have healing properties...

 

Softeners will make it feel slippery like you can't wash all the soap off.

 

Camped out at the PFJ in Elkton, MD. For a second I had to look back up at the sign. I thought I'd pulled into the TA by mistake. Majority of the parking spots here are "reserved" spots. Like the TA model. I guess with PFG being right down the block is why. Everyone has to stage up here for the 0230 appointments. I'm lucky. I get to sleep in. Mine isn't until 0300. LOL

 

That slick feeling on your skin is from softened water. It's healthier than the hard water you would have without it.

Just a GE194 bulb. But handle the fiber optics gently anytime you must touch it.

 

That's lima water! I recall it. Softened city, or well water dont have that up north!

 

Our city water doesn't do that. Its places that have to crank the softener way up to get the metals out that have that.
