Well it don't matter much to dad these days (passed 3 yrs ago) but I do wish mom would make some biscuits!
My wife's tried but there have been a few times she's pushed her own plate back. She's a good cook too biscuits just seem to be be nemesis.

My wife says often that she wished she would have paid more attention to how her mom and grandma made their biscuits. Her mom made them every day too. I guess she thought there would always be time. My wife is a great cook too but there is something that went into those biscuits that we will never know

With grandma it was all "by gosh and by golly" never used a measuring cup, just grab some of this and throw it in.
