Livestock hauling

Would like to get into hauling bulls cattle and pigs. Own my own truck and trailer if anyone could help me with any contacts. Thankyou

 

Pig hauling
Yes it changes the economics now you haul pigs on way cows back . Pig hauling is been slashed and cut so bad on rates their isnt alot of proffit after you washout before and after every pig load.bottom line its alotta work for 5.25 or even 6 bucks a hundred . Thats on a 1200 mile trip.their are easier and less smelly way to make chump change reefer pays better so does stepdeck also you cant just park in july at a rest area for a nap your pigs will die from heat.alotta stress and liabilities when u haul pigs it can get very expensive just ask gurney!

 

Dont believe the old movies u watch ! Professional cow hualers cant afford to run like your discrption the idiots who do arent in business long. They loose license insurance pretty fast! Thank goodness they can now weed out most idiots pretty fast
When i started trucking u had to have at least 5 to 10 years experience to have anyone even consider u for training. Now days u have these 21 22 year old kids thinking their pretty special cause mascarrow will give them a fancy 200000 dollar show truck to drive the sad thing is that any one with experience wont drive for them and knows better. These kids look rite at a big yellow warning sign with a highcentered cow truck on the sign and think i can make it across these trax ! Im too cool to get stuck! Luckily the dingdong jumped out out the truck when he heard the ding ding ding ding! There isnt any room in this business for ######## behavior the liability is quite high!

 

If u actually drove a cow truck u would now how stupid u sound ! Thats behavior that we in this industry Profesionals any way dont do because it is trashy behavior i remember alot of reefer guys on the other hand sucked on the devils glass back when. Its not completely gone but its proven that a guy who runs clean drug free at the end of the week or two weeks feel better and run more miles than dopers . I have seen dopers come down and lose anything they gained cause now their sleeping for 3 days while everyone else laps them.

 

There is always an exeption to the rule. What I said is Its stupid to cast blanket statements that are so stupid! Yes all parts of trucking have bad apples but his comment was painting all of us as gettered out road menaces. Cow haulers are usually more professional and experienced drivers out here because we have more experience under our belts before we even haul cows! I took exeption with the 70s movie portrait of a bunch of tweekers out here being dangerous.
