Coat the whole new bolt with anti seize. Don’t use locking nuts, just makes it harder to change, not needed.
Which tool 2 use on this bolt for replacing shock absorbers?

Ok, sorry to keep posting, Lol. But it’s going to be easier to cut the bottom of the shock off, then cut Whats left, then cut the bolt inside the mount, that cutting through the outside head. Either way, a couple cutting wheels, a little time, no problem.

Whenever I do any cutting with a cutoff wheel I try to use a tool that uses a 3in wheel.
I think that when you use the smaller wheel there's less chance of the blade breaking and I have found that if the tool how can I say it... comes out of control or wants to take off on you or whatever you want to call it the three inch wheel is much easier to control. So basically what I'm saying is I think the 4-inch cutting wheel is more dangerous.
Now a 4 inch grinder is great. It's nice and small that you can easily handle it and It's Tricky you can get into little spots with it but I avoid using cutting wheels on them.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
If it needs something smaller, i like a torch

And I bet a box wrench will fit in that hole
you might need to heat it and bend it to get it to work .Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
