    Hey guys.

i rented a brand new 2022 Freightliner Cascadia.
Been driving it for 3 months now and doing good.

The thing i noticed, the A/C in my sleeper doesn’t blow cold air, it just blows “cool” air and then if i crank it up it blows kinda hot air. The A/C in front works perfect.

The thing that is driving me crazy at the moment is valve underneath the cabins behind the drivers seat is blowing very hot air and I’m in Florida. I don’t know what to do about it.

Here is the photos of the valve that is blowing very hot air even with A/C cranked all the way to the cold.

What can i do about it? The summer is coming, can’t take it.

Have someone check the A/C pressure levels. Could be the factory didnt put enough freon in to fully charge the lines or forgot to bleed them would be my guess and the easiest thing to rule out.

If you're renting it, let the owner fix it. If its brand new it'll still be under warranty anyways.

Have you tried clicking the sleeper button on the AC control on the dash?

To be fair a cat does fit better then a dog in those tight little trucks. Dogs are much happier in 80" petes :p

I was having the same exact problem and wondered if the OP found out what the issue was?

Unfortunately we live in a country of "takers". These people ask for help and others take time to offer help and the "taker" doesn't have the decency to reply if and how he fixed the problem. After a year I don't expect he will.
As Dave said, try playing with that stupid sleeper button on the dash. It's a flawed system at best.

    QUALITYTRUCK Thanks this.

I have been in the shop for a week now, my high pressure line gets blowing, no one can find the problem.. fan switch has been replaced and computer doesn't show anything is wrong..in fact it shows everything is fine.. but if I am idling the truck , ac off. The high pressure line will blow.. we have unplugged compressor for now.. still have ac in bunk..
